Window blinds used for protection
The main goal of most homeowners is to protect their purchase any way possible. When window blinds are installed in every window, this forms a type of protection feeling from those that enjoy watching others through windows, other wise known as peeping toms. Window blinds when closed and covering the entire window can provide a good method of protection.

The main concern of feeling protected falls with single women living by themselves with children in the home. There are many people that attempt to scare these types of households into feeling the need of a man to protect the home from nosy neighbors and those that cause people to have fear.

The main reason blinds can become an effective method of protection, is at night. When a light is on in a room, such as a bedroom or bathroom, the last thing a person wants is someone peering in at them, while naked or changing clothes. For some, these strangers that are known stalkers can be sensed by an individual, and therefore blinds only offer a silhouette to the peering individual on the outside of the home.

Also blinds can be adjusted according to the height of the window. Although there are many different lengths of blinds that can be purchased, in most cases people cannot get the perfect fit, since windows have a huge variance in shapes and sizes.

When adjusting blinds, the typical routine is to allow the sunshine in the home by opening the blinds and raising them every morning. Then when the evening comes, the need for spy protection increases and the blinds can be lowered and closed, in an attempt to shut out the outside world from peering into the home. The bathroom and the bedrooms of a home are the most common places to hang window blinds. This is a fact because these places of the home require the personal protection from the person that watches, spies, or stalks another individual.

When there are no blinds on the windows at night, a person can peer directly in a well lit room from a great distance. Stalkers and spys will even go to the lengths of purchasing binoculars and telescopes in order to watch an unsuspecting target. The greatest example of this is a man watching his female prey like a target.

Another method of protection from blinds will happen if a person is apt to be shot through an unprotected window. A person that wishes his or her target dead without evidence of conviction, could easily shoot the target through an unblinded window. There would be no way for the authorities to investigate a person that simply walked by and shot an unknowing victim through the window that did not have the protection of window blinds.

In conclusion, always protect the home, although change of scenery inside and outside the home is necessary for happiness sometimes. A homeowner or renter should always make sure there is a sufficient amount of protection especially through the windows of the home. Then remember to get into a routine of opening and closing the blinds.
