The front loading machines are more efficient and consume about 10 gallons for single wash, while the top loading machines consume about 4 times more water for every wash. For all those environment conscious people the front loading machines can be more appealing than the top loading machines even when these are a little expensive.

As cleaning clothes in washing machines involve huge consumption of water and energy, there are some useful washing tips that can greatly reduce the overall impact on environment. Moreover, it can also help consumers to save more on their wallet for their effort.
